Spring Break - In the Editing Cave

It's the first day of Spring Break, and I'm in the writing cave neck deep in rewrites of my latest novel, and I'm also wrapping up the re-edits of my erotic vacation short story Wave Rider. This re-release of Wave Rider will be available on Smashwords very soon with a brand spanking new cover.

My Spring Fling giveaway is live on the website. This is my final giveaway for the month of March! You must be 18 or older to enter. All you have to do to enter is sign up for my quarterly newsletter. The Spring Fling giveaway sign-up runs through March 31st, 2014. I'll draw one winner at random on April 2nd, and announce the name here on my blog, as well as on my website.

So please, if you'd like to enter, click the little black subscriber box on my sidebar, or head over to my website and click on the newsletter tab to go to a subscriber page. Easy peasy! The Spring Fling prize package includes one Sinful Colors nail polish in the color Nail Junkie, and one Hard Candy Single and Loving It eye shadow in the color World Peace. Also, if you hop over to my Smashwords profile and add me to your favorite authors list, you'll receive an additional entry for the giveaway.

I have a long line of books in the editing cue, and I'm trying to sort them out one by one. I have new stories coming out starting in April, and I'll update the blog about those new titles when they drop. Thanks again for dropping by my blog. I do post regularly on Facebook and Twitter, so feel free to add me on those social sites as well.

That's all for now. Until next time, happy wishes!

Spring Fling...the Madness Continues

I'm in the editing cave this week. I'm trying to wrap up a full novel, and I can hardly wait to kick this sucker out the door. This is one of those books that I'll probably give a celebratory send off - wine, cake, confetti. I've had this book on the table since last year, but it has been painfully slow-going.

Yesterday I made a one-shot pass over 23 pages of it, which is pretty good for me. Today I have to rewrite/retype a clean version of what I edited, and after that, I have few errands to run.

Speaking of errands... After fifteen years of loyal service, my favorite house broom died a noble death on Tuesday, and I can't bear to go another day (especially barefoot!) without a new one. So that is a top priority quest today - shopping for a good, angled broom. It's weird because I'll think about doing a quick sweep over the floors after the dogs come in from the back yard, but then I'll go to the little niche where I usually set the broom and it's not there. Too uncomfortable for me! Gotta have a broom there before I go bonkers from phantom broom syndrome. (Thinking you have a broom when you don't.)

On Tuesday, I was over at the lovely Sommer Marsden's blog, talking about my ebook How to Date an Android in celebration of 9 Years of Sommer.  To see the post, the excerpt, and the prize I gave away, click here.

A quick shout out to Shannon for winning my Android Kiss contest, which was announced yesterday on Sommer's blog. Thanks so much for dropping in to comment!

If you missed out on the Lucky Green contest, and the Android Kiss contest, don't lose heart! There is another chance to win a March Madness prize coming up! I'll be updating my website with the new Spring Fling prize picture this weekend. All you have to do to enter is sign up for my newsletter using the link on my sidebar (here on the blog), or by visiting the newsletter page on my website and signing up there.

For a double entry, drop by my Smashwords page, and add me as a favorite. A winner will be selected at random on March 31st, 2014. Good luck!

That's all for now. Time to tackle my to-do list. Until next time, happy wishes!

Android "Kiss of Life" Blog and Contest

Hi everyone! Today I'm celebrating 9 Years of Sommer! I'm over at Sommer Marsden's blog talking about my ebook How to Date an Android.

About the story...

In a world run by androids, Caitlyn Quincy is one of a few humans still living in the city. Most days she stays to herself, processing invoices in a small shop selling relics from the past.

Milo Swain spots Caitlyn, and it's sparks at first sight. He's never experienced such a strong physical reaction to anyone. He'd love to get to know her, but Caitlyn has no idea how to date an android.

If you drop by Sommer's blog today and leave a comment, you'll be instantly entered to win an Android "Kiss of Life" lipstick pack. The kit contains Rimmel's Kate lipstick in the shade 111 Kiss of Life, and Sinful Colors nail polish in the color 1326 Get it On.

I hope to see you there!

Available now at Smashwords for only .99 cents.
