Summer Dreaming Book Giveaway

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready to break out the sunscreen, hit the beach and have a piña colada. Even my subconscious is telling me I need a vacation, check it out:

Last night, I dreamed hubby and I were on a private island riding in the Jeep, with Mini strapped in the backseat. The roads were white crushed shell and ran along a thin, low lying isthmus connecting the beaches point to point.

We came around this deep curve and waves crashed high on a huge gray outcropping of rock. It sounded like thunder it was so loud. The wash out went right over the top of the rocks and spilled across the road right as we got there. For a full minute it looked like we were driving through solid ocean.

When we came out on the other side, we were in a small city that looked like St. Augustine, FL or Savannah, GA. Very vivid dream. Maybe an indicator I need a major vacation. ~ originally posted 4.7.2011 on Cora Zane's facebook

  1. Well, I live in a tropical country, in an island where it's summer all year long... so my ideal vacation would be somewhere cozy, with snow, hot cocoa and a fireplace! :)

  2. My ideal summer vacation would be ... a vacation. Actual time off from work. Don't care where, as long as I don't have access to a phone or computer.

  3. It is doesn't matter where I go for summer vacation. What's important is with whom I spend my summer vacation. I hope I can spent it well with my beloved one :D

  4. I live in Las Vegas, where so many people come for a vacation. All the lights, shows and noise...I would much rather rent a small cabin in Big Bear California, sometimes near the winter when the bugs wouldn't be out and have a nice cozy vacation in the middle of the forest and tree's where we could bbq outside and sit in our cain or take a smal hike and watch the wild animals.

  5. My ideal summer vacation would be to return to the Fort. Walton Beach/Destin area and stay right on the beach. At least 2 weeks would be ideal. Laying out by the pool or on the beach with a good book and an ice cold drink........yeah, that's perfect for me!!

  6. My idea vacation any time of year is when I don't have to take care of my son and DIL's pets and problems or run their errands for them. Just a day to myself would be heaven. But Hawaii would be nice.

  7. Now that my boy's are living on their own, I would love to plan a big family vacation to Maui. To have my boys and their girl friends there, as well as my mom and dad for a month long vacation by the beautiful ocean would be so much fun, and definitely add some wonderful memory days. I can smell the beach already, lol.
