Dominant Territory is available at Cobblestone Press today.
The moment Libby steps into the Moonlight Run with her girlfriends, she realizes they have made a serious mistake. One look at the clientele and she knows this is no place to have a ladies night out. The backwoods bar is isolated for a very good reason—they cater to local werewolves on the eve of the change.
Drake never thought himself the type to consider a human for a mate. Then Libby shows up and crosses over into Werekind territory. One look at her and his heart is lost. After one dance, he'll stop at nothing to claim her for his own...
Tonight I'll be sharing an author release chat with the fun and talented Ann Cory. I'll also be giving away a free download of Dominant Territory to one lucky chatter. So if you have a few minutes, swing by and say hello. I'd love to see you there. :)
Despite all the hustle and bustle, the late start blogging and all that, it's been a pretty good day. I went first thing and took care of the banking, the bills, the shopping, and even managed to drive Oldest by the library. I got up thinking there wouldn't be enough hours in the day, but somehow I managed to get everything in line despite the glitches. And I'm not going to knock it.
While Mini was napping, I took a few pictures of my doll collection for the groups, and then settled down to watch the news. Big mistake!!! *remote change frenzy* WTF is going on with all these men killing their wives? Or killing pregnant women? Or their own children? That absolutely disturbs the hell out of me - literally gives me freaking nightmares to watch that stuff. And I'm not a squeamish person. I've also never been around any kind of abuse, so it's not like I have an ingrained fear of my husband going nutso on me in the middle of the night. But these stories now, you can't seem to escape it - the news of it is everywhere: newspapers, CNN, MSNBC, local channels...good grief! What the heck is going on out there? :*(
I left the news channel behind for a DVD (Cursed) and began looking through bags of yarn and spare doll heads. (Yep, I have a few of those just lying around.) I found a gorgeous fuzzy white yarn, and a brown eyed CPK head that I think would look fantastic with fluffy pigtails. Now if I can get a good amount of writing done this weekend, I may reroot a doll. It's been a while since I did anything like that. Hm... *creative ideas*
That's it for now. I need to do a few chores before chat. Just for reference, the cabbie pic at the right is one of my favorite reroots. When she came to me, she was a lemon yellow loopy haired girl. I thought she'd look good with popcorn curls and freckles. I did her reroot several years ago (four or five?) and readopted her out. I wonder where she is now...
Happy weekend, everyone!
